Dreams
They’re what keep us going
They give us motivation
They’re why we do what we do
They’re the endgame
They’re what’s waiting for us in the end
They’re what we try to achieve before death
They give us a purpose
A will
A reason to live and something to strive for
We have extravagant ones
We have simple ones
Either we actually succeed
And accomplish our greatest achievements with pride
Or we end up working in a fast food restaurant
Regretting and thinking about how things would be different
If we didn’t give up
